A Message From Deacon Jason Myres:
A Message of Gratitude
Hello Friends,
It is with hearts full of gratitude that Susie and I write to share that we have been called to a new assignment at St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Kenosha. Since joining this faith community in 2012, celebrating our marriage here in 2014, and my ordination to the Diaconate in 2022, we have been thoroughly blessed by the relationships we've built and the faith we've shared with so many of you across all four churches of the KR County Line Parish. Each community has shaped our experience and deepened our love for Christ and His Church.
We are profoundly grateful for the memories we've shared: celebrations of the sacraments, service alongside dedicated parishioners, and the everyday moments of fellowship that have enriched our lives. The warmth and generosity of this parish family have been a true gift, and we will carry these experiences with us always.
As we prepare for this transition, we encourage each of you to continue growing in faith, hope, and charity. Every parish community faces changes, but it is in these moments that we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ-to choose service, love, and unity and continue to build up the faith communities. May you continue to build up the Body of Christ here, welcoming all who seek Him and reflecting His light to the world.
We ask for your prayers as we begin this new chapter, and we promise to keep you in ours. We're sure our paths will cross again, and we plan to stay in touch at events and continue to support functions when able. Thank you for allowing us to walk with you on this journey of faith. May God bless each of you abundantly and may His peace reign in your hearts and in this community.
With sincerity, love, and gratitude in Christ,
Deacon Jason and Susie Myres

ADVENT IGNATIAN PRAYER EXPERIENCE
KR County Line Catholic Parishes! Do we have an Advent treat for you! We will be offering a four (4) week Ignatian prayer experience called "Encountering Jesus". It involves praying scripture using your imagination. Each of the four (4) weeks, you will have a participant guide with scripture verses (use your own Bibles). Your commitment is to set aside thirty (30) minutes for four days in the week to pray, then another ninety (90) minutes weekly for the small group session. That is it! Repeat for each of the four weeks of Advent. Come to know Jesus in a personal way through scripture and with the help of Ignation Prayer. This experience will begin the week of November 23, 2025.
